Delta 8, Delta-9,CBD, THC-A what are all these things?  Pot is Pot right?  NO.  These compounds all come from the marijuana plant.  Some are illegal and some are not.  Hemp based products usually contain less than .3% Delta-9 THC which is the legal limit.  THC-A is the precursor to Delta-9 and is illegal in some states (not in Kansas).  Delta-8 is a form of THC and is legal.  If you ingest Delta-8 THC or THC-A and you have to take a drug test, YOU WILL FAIL THE DRUG TEST.  Some people say Delta-8 will come on more gently than Delta-9 THC, thus making the experience less intense than Delta-9 THC.  Here is an interesting article about Delta-8 that I have found useful. https://www.leafly.com/news/science-tech/what-is-delta8-thc.  DELTA 9 is legal in Kansas if it is hemp derived and under 3% total in edibles.
